It is our belief that Jesus not only heals physical problems but changes us from the inside out making us new again. Inner healing issues can sometimes even keep us from receiving the physical healing we need. When we give our emotional pain and traumas to Jesus we can truly be filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit.

The Ventura Healing Rooms is now offering individual inner healing sessions, by appointment apart from the Healing Room prayer hours.

Several members of our team are trained in the “Sozo” inner healing methods. “Sozo,” is a word used in the New Testament 110 times and is originally a Greek word that means “to save or make well or whole.”

The goal of our inner healing sessions is to help people get in touch with how much God loves them. In this context the healing of past wounds becomes possible. Often times the enemy has gotten a foothold in people’s lives by telling them lies that hold back the true destiny that God has for us.

Sozo inner healing sessions depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal these lies we have believed about ourselves and God. When the Holy Spirit reveals to us the truth we are set free.

Sozo inner healing methods were originally developed by Carlos Anacondia during the Argentina Revivals. Sozo was introduced to Bethel Church in Redding by Randy Clark in 1997. Ventura Healing Room members attended training at Bethel. Bethel Church has been in revival for the past ten years and is very active in training Sozo teams throughout the world.
