About Us
WHAT WE DO
The Ventura Healing Rooms are a safe and confidential environment where people can come to receive healing prayer. You will find that the Healing Room is full of the presence and love of God. It is our belief that helping people come into the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ ministers salvation, physical, emotional and spiritual healing. A healing can instantly occur by His miraculous touch, other times people can receive healing over a period of days, weeks or months. We are committed to praying for people until they are completely well!
When you first come to the Ventura Healing Rooms you are invited to experience the Lord’s presence in the soaking room. A member of the ministry team will be there to welcome and assist you. Your prayer request will be given to a prayer team who will than ask the Holy Spirit for revelation and wisdom about how to pray for your needs. You will be called into the prayer room to experience the Lord’s healing touch. Individual prayer sessions last between twenty and thirty minutes each. We appreciate your patience in waiting for a prayer team to call you in for prayer. Generally we try to operate on a first come-first serve basis, but sometimes the Holy Spirit may direct us to pray for someone out of turn.
WHO WE ARE
The Ventura Healing Room consists of Holy Spirit-filled believers in Jesus Christ who represent various churches in the Ventura area. Ministry teams are volunteers who have been trained in the ministry of healing. Several team members have experienced physical and emotional healings through the grace of Jesus and are ministering out of this revelation. In unity through prayer, Healing Room Teams have an opportunity to advance the Kingdom of God.
The Ventura Healing Room is a member of the International Healing Room Association (IHRA). The vision of the IHRA is to see Healing Rooms multiplied in citied around the word. Its purpose is to establish uniformity and accountability in each work by offering, through an association, the tools to properly equip each Healing Room for the work of the ministry.

OUR DIRECTORS
Healing Room directors are Jeffrey and Katy Barsch. Their passion for working in healing ministry began when Jeffrey was completely healed of a serious illness in April of 2000. They desire all people to experience the fullness of everything that Jesus died to give them and to see healing ministry restored to the Church of Jesus Christ. Their goal is to provide ministry in the marketplace that brings salvation to those who have not heard the gospel and direct them to churches in their areas.
Jeffrey spent 5 years working in a local church on pastoral staff, ministering in the areas of counseling, family life and prayer. Pastor Jeffrey also has a doctorate from the University of Southern California, specializing in special education and educational psychology. Katy has been an elementary teacher in the Ventura area for the past fifteen years. The Lord has used their backgrounds to give them a compassionate heart for those who struggle because of Attention Deficit Disorder and other learning problems.
